“…a little bit of this, a little bit of that”

the ramblings and musings of an elementary music teacher and aunt extraordinaire

About Me October 16, 2008

I’m a fun-loving, elementary school music teacher and aunt extraordinaire. I started my life in Scranton, PA. No one knew where that was (or cared) until The Office made it’s appearance. In my early childhood, we moved to Northern Indiana. I spent most of my childhood here, and I am a stereo-typical, good, conservative Midwesterner at heart. After college, I spent several years on the East Coast in Delaware and New Jersey. Those years stretched me spiritually and emotionally. While there, I also developed some amazing friendships. Now, I’ve come back to my hometown. In fact, I teach at the school I attended as a child. I’m amazed at how God has directed the course of my life. My life is not anything like I imagined it would be, but now that I’m living it, I couldn’t imagine anything better.

This blog covers whatever strikes my fancy. The topics are largely influenced by the things I love. I love my family and traveling, and I dabble in a little bit of photography. I’m also bit of music geek and a bit of a word geek, and I deal with hilarious children in my everyday life. All those things will be and have been part of my blogging. The true love of my life, though, is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I make attempts to learn more about Him and create a deeper relationship with Him everyday. So, sometimes, I’ll make feeble attempts to share what I’ve been learning. I’m glad you took the time to read this. I hope you will also take some time to interact, comment, and help me learn more about these things I love.
